A Community’s Support in Challenging Times

Community spirit always shines brightest during times of adversity, and we’re seeing that right now at Wyatt fencing.

Close Wyatt family friend, Robin, is a beloved and integral member of the local community. And very sadly, Robin is currently facing a battle with brain cancer. His journey has touched the lives of many. He has inspired us with his strength and reminded us how precious life truly is. And now is our time to inspire him, help as much as we can, lift his spirits and show him that he’s not alone in this fight.

On April 21st at 12pm, members of the Wyatt family with close friends are hosting Robin’s Tractor Road Run at the Horton Social Club in order to raise money for Robin’s specialist treatment. All modes of transport are welcome at the run, and the entry fee for each driver is £20. There will be a food van, a raffle, and an auction, making the event a fun-filled day for everyone to enjoy! This event is a testament to the outpouring of love and support for Robin and his family, who have been going through a difficult time. The event promises to be a celebration of unity, resilience, and hope, as friends, neighbours, and well-wishers come together to honour Robin and his courageous battle. We invite everyone to join us and make this a memorable day.

We’re very much hoping that the sight of all the tractors and other vehicles both vintage and modern, rolling down the road will serve as a symbol of our community’s strength and determination to stand by Robin’s side.

But our support doesn’t end with the road run. For those unable to attend in person, there’s still an opportunity to make a difference. Robin’s  provides a platform for individuals to contribute towards easing the financial burden that comes with battling cancer. The money will go towards a treatment for Dendritic Cell Therapy in Germany – a type of Immunotherapy that uses your immune system to fight cancer. This is where you can help! Unfortunately, this treatment is very expensive. While the brain cancer is very sadly incurable, this special treatment can give Robin more precious time with his beautiful young family. Every donation, no matter how small, is a testament to the collective love and support that surrounds Robin and his family during this challenging time.

So, mark your calendars, spread the word, and show Robin and his family the true depth of our care and support. Together, we can make a difference and offer hope, comfort, and strength to a friend in need. Robin, you’re not alone – we’re with you every step of the way!
