October AFI Award Win

We’re incredibly proud to announce that we’ve been honoured with the “Temporary & Hoarding Fencing Contractor of the Year” award by the Association of Fencing Industries (AFI).

Our winning piece of work for Penny Group, Butlins, involved the installation of a 400-metre temporary hoarding system, consisting of freestanding panels with heights ranging from 2.4 metres to 3 metres.

Stuart Cload, Penny Group, said of our work, “The Wyatt’s Fencing team installed the hoarding in a safe and diligent manner, always protecting their works areas from the public.

The Butlins project team were very satisfied with the installed hoarding and once the screen-printed branding was applied, it appeared to be part of the resort.”

An added bonus

As an added bonus, we had the pleasure of meeting Andy Powell, the former Wales rugby player at the awards. Andy’s presence added an extra layer of excitement to an already incredible evening. His stories from his time on the rugby pitch (and off) were nothing short of amazing. We were also pleasantly surprised to learn that he’s quite the fencer as well!

We can provide a structural engineer’s design to ensure a safe installation, and our hoarding is available in a variety of options, including timber hoarding that is either dug into timber posts or attached to 750kg kentledge blocks.

We’ve been in the industry for over 30 years, and we understand the importance of matching your corporate colours and maintaining a professional appearance. That’s why all of our hoarding will be decorated in colours of your choice, and we can also supply and install matching pedestrian and vehicular gates.
